Whether you are looking for a planting plan to liven up a single border or a fully landscaped total garden regeneration, Rainey is here to help you. As an experienced and highly creative garden designer, Rainey is equally adept at creating both domestic and commercial schemes that excite and delight. Whatever your requirements please call Rainey today on 07768 706051 to book your initial no-obligation complimentary consultation. Stages of the design process are explained below.
Initial consultation
The first stage in the design process involves a detailed discussion to find out what you hope to achieve and how you wish to use your garden. For example, some clients are looking to create a tropical jungle retreat or a low maintenance contemporary outdoor room, while others may want a traditional cottage garden with plenty of beds and borders, or a multifunctional space incorporating a children's play area, a vegetable patch, an area for dining and a tranquil nook for adult escapism.
As well as establishing your objectives, during the initial meeting Rainey will find out about your individual likes and dislikes, your budget and how much time you are able to devote to the garden's ongoing upkeep, so that she can design a garden that meets your needs.
Follow-up meeting and site survey
The next stage in the process is for Rainey to conduct a site survey and take measurements so that any plans that are produced will work within the space. At this meeting the brief will also be finalised and agreed.
Presentation and initial design concepts
The next stage in the process is for Rainey to present her initial concepts and outline budget for your input. During this meeting she will clearly communicate her ideas both visually and verbally, listen to your comments and discuss any amendments that may be necessary.
Presentation of the final design and planting plan
Once any amendments have been incorporated, Rainey shall present the final garden scheme to you. This will include information on the proposed hard landscaping, lighting, water features and planting, along with a detailed budget breakdown. At the stage you can opt to use Rainey's design only' service and appoint your own contractors to take the project forward, or engage Rainey's services to project manage the creation of your new outdoor space, using her extensive links with contractors, tree surgeons, steel fabricators and other specialists to bring your garden to life.
Work Commences
If you decide to appoint Rainey to oversee the construction of your new garden, she will then agree a schedule of works with you and set about bringing your new garden to life, on time on budget. However if you want the hard landscaping to be carried out by your chosen contractor, Rainey is extremely flexible and would be happy to simply do the planting if required.
